The McElroy McSnapper® is a tensile with impact testing machine designed specifically for polyolefin materials. It was developed to accurately test fusion joints. The McSnapper® is designed to meet the requirements of ASTM F2634, Standard test method for laboratory testing of polyethylene (PE) butt fusion joints using tensile-impact testing.
The McSnapper® can be used in the development of new materials, quality assurance for existing materials or in fusion compatibility to determine lot uniformity, strength and fusibility of pipe and fittings.
August 2018 amendments by the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) for the provision of "clear and reasonable" Proposition 65 warnings in Title 27, California Code of Regulations, Section 25600, et seq ("Warning") placed responsibility for providing warnings on product manufacturers, producers, packagers, importers, suppliers, and distributors.
While nothing has changed with McElroy's products, the requirements for warnings have evolved. For specific chemical information please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
