McElroy University Operations Classes Are Conducted following guidelines established in ASTM F3190-16, Standard Practice for Heat Fusion Equipment (HFE) Operator Qualification on Polyethylene (PE) and Polyamide (PA) Pipe and Fittings.
Covers sizes ranging from ½" CTS - 6" DIPS (16mm - 180mm), including socket fusion and hot tap.
Covers sizes ranging from 2" IPS - 20" OD (63mm - 500mm), including our TracStar® line of machines.
Focuses on training for our automated DynaMc® and TracStar® line of fusion machines.
For the polyethylene welding inspector, students learn critical factors and theory behind butt fusion, electro-fusion, socket fusion and sidewall fusion.
Focuses on training for our line of polypropylene fusion machines and cover sizes from 16mm to 250mm.
In addition to our standard course offerings, we can create customized training sessions with any of your McElroy fusion machines for your specialized situation.
This private training can take place at our Technical Center in Tulsa where all other schools are taught, at your location, or even on the jobsite, and is available in multiple languages.
