Reset to Factory Default!!
To be performed on an HP iPAQ hx2190b only!!

hx2190b vXXX.exe is an image file for restoring an HP iPAQ hx2190b Pocket PC to its factory default state with the latest McElroy DL3-PPC software.  This will erase all joint reports on the Pocket PC, but reports in the SD card are not affected.

To perform this restoration:

1. If hx2190b vXXX.exe is already on the SD card, skip to step 4.
   
2. Download and copy hx2190b vXXX.exe onto the SD card and place it in the PPC Setup Files folder, or using Microsoft ActiveSync to copy the file directly onto the Pocket PC's My Documents folder.
   
3. Insert the SD card into the Pocket PC.
   
4. Use File Explorer to locate the hx2190b vXXX.exe file located under My Device/Storage Card/PPC Setup Files or My Device/My Documents
   
5. Tap on the hx2190b vXXX.exe file icon. 
   
6. Follow the onscreen instructions and monitor the restoration progress.
   
7. After the reset, the Pocket PC is restored to factory default and can be used to log joints.
