Please identify the correct TDS device before
proceeding.
Microsoft continues to update Windows Mobile operating system firmware.
Follow these steps to identify the correct firmware version of your TDS
Recon:
1) Start > Settings > System > System Information
2) Look at the firmware version number (examples: 4.2.5 5.0.1 6.0.1)
3) If the firmware version number starts with a 4, use the
image file Rec4 vXXX. If it starts with a 5, use Rec5 vXXX. If it starts with a 6, use Rec6 vXXX image file.
4) For general Recon setup information using the image file, please
refer to the instructions in PDF format..
Note:
1) Recon 6 is the latest Recon
2) Recon 5 is formally called Recon X
3) Recon 4 is formally called Recon
