Reset to Factory Default!!
To be performed on an HP iPAQ rx3115 only!!

rx3115 vXXX.exe is an image file for restoring an HP iPAQ rx3115 Pocket PC to its factory default state.  This is useful for instances where the Pocket PC's battery is completely drained due to extended period of storage, and all programs and settings are lost.  However, Joint Reports stored in the SD card are not affected by battery drain and this restoration.

To perform this restoration:

1. If rx3115 vXXX.exe is already on the SD card, skip to step 4.
   
2. Download and copy rx3115 vXXX.exe onto the SD card.  Place it in the PPC Setup Files folder.
   
3. Insert the SD card into the Pocket PC.
   
4. If battery is completely drained, follow the onscreen instructions to setup the Pocket PC and go through the tutorial.
5. Use File Explorer to locate the rx3115 vXXX.exe file located under My Device/Storage Card/PPC Setup Files
   
6. Tap on the rx3115 vXXX.exe file icon. 
   
7. Tab Restore and follow onscreen instructions and monitor the restoration progress.
   
8. After the reset, the Pocket PC is restored to factory default and can be used to log joints.
