 No.412

McElroy’s No.412 line of fusion machines will butt fuse pipe sizes from 4” IPS to 12” DIPS (110mm to 340mm). They come in multiple model configurations to meet the demands of your pipeline project. The No.412 changed the industry when introduced as the first fully self contained fusion machine in the world. The TracStar No.412 added all terrain mobility to the unit setting a new industry standard.

Rolling, TracStar, and PitBull machines incorporate the interchangeable No.412 four jaw carriage, which can be easily removed for in-ditch fusion. For tight installations the outer fixed jaw and skid can be removed from the carriage converting it to a 3 jaw carriage for an even more compact fusion unit. These machines can fabricate segmented ells with optional mitered inserts and are DataLogger® compatible.

The TracStar No.412 offers a self-contained, self-propelled track mounted vehicle that can handle grades up to 30%. It is the number one choice on the job site for its ease of maneuverability and productivity gains.

New to the TracStar No.412 is an option that allows automated control and monitoring over the heat, soak, fuse, and cool cycles. The Automated TracStar No.412 system guides the operator through a step by step procedure for fusing pipe. It has a built-in data logging feature that keeps a record of each fusion joint, which allows you to verify joint integrity.

Pipes sized from 110mm to 340mm can be fused with the new McElroy DynaMc™ Auto 412. The DynaMc Auto was created with input from industry experts to find the best mix of powerful features that still allow the components to operate within industry specifications. The DynaMc Auto 412 sports a hydraullically powered facer with three blades per side that trim pipe ends with high torque and speed. The electronic control unit has state-of-the-art features, including a USB port for downloading reports in a faster, modernized format. With robust features that promote operational efficiency, the DynaMc Auto is in control of the pipe — not the other way around.
