Steve Burgess is a professional engineer and has been with McElroy since 1986. He was previously employed for eight years with a manufacturing company as first a draftsman, then drafting supervisor and then engineering technician. He decided to return to school and obtained an Engineering Degree and was hired by McElroy as a project engineer. He spent a year and a half as the manufacturing engineer and then became the computer aided design systems manager and finally the product engineering manager. He is the manager of the engineering group involved with the current product line and is involved with the manufacturing process of all products. He is also responsible for all quality assurance of existing products.
