McSnapper
      

 McSnapper™

The McElroy McSnapper™ is a tensile with impact testing machine designed specifically for polyolefin materials. It was developed to accurately test fusion joints. The McSnapper is designed to meet the requirements of ASTM F2634, “Standard test method for laboratory testing of polyethylene (PE) butt fusion joints using tensile impact method." The machine can be used in the development of new materials, quality assurance for existing materials, or in fusion compatibility to determine lot uniformity, strength and fuseability of pipe and fittings.
