Alliance for PE Pipe brings roadshow to Tulsa to promote solutions for replacing aging water infrastructure

April 7, 2014

Cities across the country are facing the costly and urgent task of replacing antiquated water systems that disrupt traffic and interrupt service due to countless, expensive and all-too-familiar water line breaks.

In an effort to provide cutting-edge solutions, the Alliance for PE Pipe will be in Tulsa on April 15 to promote high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe as a superior replacement to existing infrastructure. HDPE pipe does not leak, crack, pit or corrode. It also does not break when the ground moves.

The Alliance for PE Pipe will hold its HDPE Pipe Total Solutions Roadshow and Expo at McElroy Manufacturing's Fulton Campus in Tulsa on Tuesday, April 15, 2014.

Public works representatives from Tulsa and the surrounding communities, consulting engineers, pipe contracting professionals as well as members of the Tulsa Metropolitan Utility Authority and the Tulsa City Council are invited to attend this free event from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the McElroy Manufacturing Technical Center, 840 N. Fulton Avenue in Tulsa.

Come learn about the most innovative, cost-effective and environmentally-sound infrastructure of the future from the experts. There will be destructive testing to show the strength of HDPE pipe as well as demonstrations on pipe bursting and pipe fusion.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
